I understand why many chinese people don't like the figure of the last emperor. Since he was a puppet of militaristic Japan, while ruling the state of Manchukuo. He was not directly involved in the Marco Polo Bridge incident, but he provided a springboard for a full-scale invasion of China. But I assure you that it's the right decision not to kill him.
